Dear Grade 5 Parents,

Due to the shortened instructional weeks in Weeks 4 and 5, with Friday, September 25, and Monday, September 28, being official school holidays, we will combine the Week 4 and Week 5 weekly quizzes into one assessment on Friday, October 2. As this is a new story unit, the additional instructional time will allow our teaching team to thoroughly cover the lessons, vocabulary, and key concepts before students complete their assessment. We believe this will provide students with sufficient time to learn and review the material with confidence. We apologize for any inconvenience this adjustment may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,
The Grade 5 Teaching Team
